Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand Petroraq’s sales operations. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and coaching the sales team, setting ambitious goals, and ensuring that every team member consistently meets and exceeds their quarterly sales targets. The role demands a hands-on leader who leads by example, actively engages in key client relationships, and drives revenue growth across all business segments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
- Create comprehensive sales plans aligned with business objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Set and track sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds goals.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Foster a positive and competitive team environment.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance metrics and generate detailed sales forecasts and reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact to post-sale support.
6. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
7. Negotiate Contracts and Close Deals:
- Oversee the negotiation and closing of high-value deals.
- Ensure all sales contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures.
8. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget, optimizing resource allocation to achieve maximum ROI.
- Monitor expenses and maintain cost control measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
